Anthony Weiner was a NY representative with seven terms. He ran for mayor in 2005 and lost. He resigned from Congress in June 2011 after he was exposed (pun intended) sending a sextext
picture of himself to a female follower on Twitter. He, of course, initially denied it. Later, he admitted that he had lied about the sextent, and that he had done so with six female followers. In 2008, an article in the New York Times characterized Weiner as a demanding boss who yells at his staff. The article also said that he occasionally abused(not sexually) the office furniture in anger. He had one of the highest staff turnover rates of any member of Congress. During one 18-month period, he went through three chiefs of staff. That does not sound like the type of mayor New York City needs. Maybe it does.
An article in the Roll Call newspaper revealed that in 2010, Weiner's congressional vehicles had
unpaid tickets totally more than $2,000. This was in spite of the fact that Weiner has criticized UN diplomats for failing to pay parking tickets in New York City. Another article in the New York Daily News reported that one of Weiner's vehicles was displaying expired plates belonging to another of his vehicles.
All of this craziness is why I never wanted to enter politics. I am just not that interested in sex and drugs.
