I could not help but notice the similarities between that and the TV show, Person of Interest. In the TV show, the government has a machine that is a mass surveillance computer system programmed to monitor and analyze data from surveillance cameras, electronic communications, and audio input throughout the world for the stated purpose of preventing terrorist attacks. This is a case of fiction reflecting reality. I guess, the TV show will now be listed under non-fiction.
I am not sure why this comes as a shock to everyone. On every detective show, the detectives obtain the phone records of every suspect along with all their credit card activity. They make it seem easy and routine. That is why I have placed key people on my speed dial. If police surround me, I will call as many of these people as fast as possible; people like Pres. Obama, the Pope, the Sec. of Defense, Bill Clinton, and all the Supreme Court Judges. It does not matter if I connect. I want the police to think twice about holding me when they see my telephone log.
